Here is a simple, but highly effective technique to get a team coalescing around a set of ideas. Let’s say that the project team is charged with defining a set of criteria for a new system. One traditional approach is to brainstorm the new set of criteria and assign the resulting work to some unfortunate soul. Try this twist for a decidedly different outcome:
